Why do I love Tahiti?

Tahiti is Beautiful--and the Tahitian Culture is extremely welcoming Tahitian Culture

I served as a voluntary representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for two years on the island of Tahiti, as well as on a remote atoll called Raroia. During these two years, I grew to absolutely LOVE the people, their welcoming culture, and the stunning nature found on these islands!

This particular photo was taken by the waterfall called Vaiumete! Because the rock has been smoothed with the rivers passing, it's one of the world's first waterslides. The locals who showed us this hidden gem have an absolute blast as the slide, jump, and flip from the rocks into the pool!
